Online Interview for temporary positions of "Project Associates" & "Laboratory Assistants" for
fhe Director, CSIR-Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun on behalf of the sponsors of the projects, is nterestec to engage "Project Associates" and "Laboratory Assistant" and for empanelment for future oosrtrons/requirernents for various time-bound projects In different schemes. The eligibility criterion is as
Stipend
For Project Associate-I Positions. (i)The monthly stipend at the rate of Rs. 31000 +HRA Will be given to the candidates who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A Selection Process through National level examination conducted by Central Government Dept. and their agencies and institutions (11) Other who do not fall under (i) above will get monthly
stipend Rs 25000+ HRA.
(II) For Project Associate-II Positions (I) The monthly stipend at the rate of Rs 350001- +HRA Will be given to the candidateswho are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A Selection Process through National level examination conducted by Central Government Dept and their agencies and institutions (11) Other who do not fall under (i) above will get monthly stipend Rs. 28000+ HRA.
(111) For Laboratory Assistant Positions Rs 20000+HRA and Increment of 15% for 3 years experience with
maximum ceiling of 4 such revrsions I e up to 12 years of experience

General Terms & Conditions:
1. Eligible and interested candidates are required to apply ONLINE through recruitment section of the Instiute website http://www.iip.res.in.
2 If the candidate does not have a valid E-mail 10. he/she should create a new valid E-mail 10 and register
himself/herself before applYing After registering a link will be sent to the registered Email 10 of the candidate for activating the User 10 Thereafter. candidates are required to Sign-in with registered Email-

3 The candidates are required to fill all the details related to their educational qualification, experience etc. in online application form as this data will be used for screening of applications
4 Candidates are required to upload scan copy of following original documents while applying. failing which, their candidature will be summarily rejected'
(I) Educational Qualificatlons(matriculation onwards). (ii)Age' (iii)Caste Category(in case of
SC/ST/OBC/PWO/EWS candidates). (iv) experience certificate. if any; (v) Publications/Patents, If any and
(VI) detailed biodata etc.
Candidates are not required to pay any application fee. therefore, the status of submitted application may
be shown as pending. Candidate are hereby advised to not to confuse themselves with the status of the submitted application.

i Mere fulfilling of minimum gualification will not confer any right in a candidate for being called for Interview. If large number of applications are received. the Screening Committee will adopt it own criteria for shortlising the applications and preference will be given to the candidates having
gualification and experience over and above advertised qualification/experience.
8 The shortlisted candidates will be invited for online interview. information for which will be communicated through CSIR-IIP website and on registered Email 10 of the candidates. Therefore. candidates are advised to visit CSIR-IIP website regularly for updates.
9 Engagement will initially be for a period of Six Months/One Year depending upon the project requirement, which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the ProjecUdesired level performance or conduct of the incumbent, as the case may be.
10 Tenure of engagement of the Project Staff shall be co-terminus with the project. However, under no
circumstances the tenure would be allowed to exceed five years duration. The performance of the Project Staff would be reviewed periodically so that anyone not found up to the mark. could be terminated without assigning any reason.
1 All these positions are temporary and are on behalf of the sponsors and, therefore, will not confer any right on the incumbent to any claim. implicit or explicrt for absorption on any post in CSIR-IIP/CSIR.
2 On completion of the tenure in one project, in case. one wants to apply for engagement in another project,
he/she will have to go through the process of selection by submitting a fresh application under the new project. Engagement of the Project Staff under the new project would be made only after submission of resignation and "No Demand Certificate" in the previous project
3 Whereever possible accommodation will be provided to project staff, if accommodation is not possible,
HRA will be paid as per rules. If accommodation IS provided, the licence fee would be deducted as per
CSIR rules
14 The Project Staff shall be permitted to avail leave and dispensary facility for self only, as per rules.
5 The Institute provides canteen facilities as is being provided for regular staff members on payment of
SUitable charges.
16 Experience, where required. will be calculated from the date of acqumnq minimum educational qualification.
7 Final semester and results awaited candidates are not eligible for above mentioned positions.
18 TAIDA will not be paid for reporting to duty after selection.
9 Number of positions may vary depending upon the Project requirements.
a The remuneration/stipend will be governed in accordance With the extant CSIR Instructions applicable
from time to time
Tile panel of Project Staff may be prepared for future requirements, if any, or for up-coming projects.
Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification for the positions.
